Krystal V. Tibbs is a proud graduate of University of Maryland at Baltimore (UMAB), were she obtained both her Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing degrees. After receiving her Bachelor's degree, she was 1 of the 10 applicants selected out of 100 candidates; to work as a new nurse graduate in a trial pilot program at Children's National Medical Center (CNMC) in Washington, D.C., in the Step-Down Intensive Care Unit. Ms. Krystal continued to work at CNMC for 8 years and had the rewarding experience and opportunity to care for critically ill pediatric patients. While working at CNMC, she also worked part time providing nursing care for chronically ill children in a home care setting. In addition, she also worked with a Nursing Agency part-time, providing care for the mother and newborn patient in a few hospital settings.

Ms. Krystal has been practicing as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP), since 1994 and takes pride in serving all patients with respect and dignity. In 2013, she was nominated and recognized in the 2013 Edition of World Wide Leaders in Healthcare. She is dedicated to providing patients and families with the most optimal health care and strives to develop a wonderful long term relationship. As a result, she has a loyal following of patients who are more like family!

Hobbies

Ms. Krystal is an active participant in community outreach programs, such as mentoring and teaching young adolescent females. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, exercising, watching movies, gardening, and most of all, spending quality time with family and friends.
